I belong to a few discourse community response that I have played an extremely important part of my everyday life. I feel that each one has brought a distinct ingredient that has molded me in to a strong and ambitious for a knowledge woman I am today. My family community is by far the most important to me, without them I would not be here. Whether they are hundreds of miles away or just in the other room technology has some way found way to keep our ties and bounds stronger than ever. Friendship community are like my adopted family we share so many bounds and issues that one cannot tell your immediately family. I’m also apart of my cross-country team community, which I feel has thought me value of team work and planted I’m my heart the seed of courage and never give up even when the road gets rough. Last but not least my science club community, which introduced me to a group of colleagues that have opened my eyes to the fascinating world of science. I have to admit that I was not intrigued about dissecting all kinds of creatures until that bond was formed and I approached it differently
Family is very important this is why we always try to be close to one another. The communication that we have to one another is stronger than any other discourse community. They’re not a single day that we do not communicate with one another. If they live far we try our best to keep in touch. In this century is easier for us to communicate more. In my family we no longer send birthday cards or letter on e-mail we send our greetings electronically. For example we send our memo in text message, make a long distance call, send messages on Facebook, or use face time. Another thing that keeps our family more united is that each Sunday we make menudo or tamales for breakfast and that’s when we get to see everyone once a week.

Friendship for me takes time to developed, because I don’t want no to t tell dark secrets. My friends such as Mirka and Eddie I can send them text messages, selfi’s on snap chat, our update them on Facebook every hour and I wont get bored. Mirka and me spend mostly watching Netflix, or tv series such as “The Walking Dead”.

The communication between Eddie and me is cool because I talk too him like my big brother. The weirdest part is that he is my brother in-law yet he is my best friend. Eddie and me are in love with food and that’s what we mostly talk about and boy problems. This is why when I’m whit them I can be myself. They will always be there when I need them specially. Now in this day It is hard to be friends with someone because it takes time to build up trust. Like I was best friend with Mirka for six years already.

In my cross-country if you were capable in running tree miles you made it on the team. It did not matter how slow you run we accepted you on the team. The team kept I touch using Facebook, text messaging to remind us on our next upcoming race. The first time I join the team they called me a fish which even today they still do. I miss running especially doing our small payer before our race which is “ Good, better, best, never let it rest until your good is better and your better is best”.
Becoming a member in the Science club in Fabens High School was enjoyable however in order to join this organization you have to maintain good grades. In school they called us the eukaryotes, which stands for cell. I had fun experience being part of the science club I learned Pavlov theory, which we experimented with a hamster, which wended naming him Pavlov. I hate experimenting on animals or dissecting because I’m against animal cruelty. The most amazing part in being part of the science club was you had the opportunity to travel. I remember going to Albuquerque were we camp and visit the aquarium. It was difficult to communicate with our group in school because we are forbidden to use our cell phones so we e-mailed each other on Fabens wildcats website. The conversations we always had were always serious just because they monitor what we send.
It is rare how a person can interact differently whit one another person. Like with me I communicate differently with family,
friendship, cross-country team and my science club.
